Possible 3 "Dark Shadows" Movies

Johnny Depp is set to star as a lovelorn vampire in the film adaptation of the hit 60's cult TV series Dark Shadows. The Pirates Of The Caribbean star will play Barnabas Collins in the big screen version of the Gothic soap opera.

“I was obsessed with the character as a child. It triggered my earliest desire to become an actor,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying. The 46-year-old actor further revealed he, along with director Tim Burton, intended to come out with at least three Dark Shadows films.

The first installment, based on the series that ran for 594 episodes over 14 years, is expected to hit the theatres next year.

Have you got a sweet tooth or fangs for some New Moon candy. These were found at a local Walgreen’s for $2.99. What a deal huh!!

There are 24 pieces in a package and Bella is Creme filled (hehehe), Edward is caramel filled (my personal fave), and Jacob is Peanut Butter (dogs love PB). LOL!!! Seems like they picked just the right flavors. Plus Bella is a heart, Edward is the Cullen Crest, and Jacob is a Wolf howling at the moon. These sound yummilicious :P

"Live Evil" Gets Premiere in Las Vegas

Jay Woelfel's Live Evil had won an theatrical release of 300 screens starting September 18th, as well as a DVD release in mid-November. There's been an update to this story, in that we recently learned that the film is also getting a premiere at the Sci-Fi Center in Las Vegas. Live Evil tells the story of vampires having trouble surviving in a world where the blood supply has become polluted by drugs and STDs. Check out the trailer.

Stephen Moyer Joins Cast of "Priest"

Stephen Moyer has joined the cast of Priest, the Scott Stewart-directed Screen Gems thriller that stars Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q and Karl Urban.

Scripted by Cory Goodman, the thriller involves a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who kidnapped his niece. Stephen will not be playing a vampire in this movie but the mortal brother of the protagonist.

The movie is based on the graphic novel by Min-Woo Hyung. Shooting of Priest will start today. The release date is set for 13 August 2010.

Jack Huston has joined the cast of Eclipse and will be portraying Rosalie's human fiance, Royce King II. He is the grandson of director John Huston and nephew of Angelica Huston.


Catalina Sandino Moreno has been picked for the role of Maria, who recruited Jasper to help form a newborn vampire army during Southern vampire wars.


14 year old Jodelle Ferland has been cast as the newborn vampire Bree in Victoria's army.
